Milana Vayntrub discusses parenting, sexual harassment.

The actress, 35, was with Rebecca Lee's podcast, How The F*** Did You Bounce Back?, where she discussed how a successful marriage made her a better parent.

"I was honestly a little judgmental of moms before I had a kid, just because I was so ignorant," she shared with Lee

Her son is "very amusing and cute," she says. "I want to spend every minute with him but also appreciate time alone, so it's complicated."

Part of having a positive perspective on motherhood, she says, entails building her connection with her husband by holding "state of the union meetings"

"We’re just better parents when our couple needs are being met, when our individual needs are being met," she said.

In fact, Vayntrub approaches her parenting style with the clear intention of breaking the patterns she believes fueled much of her early trauma.

"I worry about how I was misparented or how I'd do things differently," she said.

She is breaking the cycle of corporal punishment with her son. "I am certain that I will never hit my child. That is just never going to happen,"

Vayntrub responded to online sexual harassment after 2021 NCAA Tournament ads last year.

"Been getting a lot of 'Why are they placing her body like that in those ads?' Well, I direct the ads. I place myself like that," she tweeted at the time.

"And it’s because of the thousands of unwelcome comments I receive about my body. You’ve lost the privilege of looking at it until I feel safe again." she added
