Kyrgyz-Peruvian Valentina Shevchenko is a professional MMA fighter who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in the women’s Flyweight category.

She just won the title of UFC Women’s Flyweight Champion and is now ranked 1st in the UFC women’s pound-for-pound rankings.

Among UFC fighters, Shevchenko has won more awards than any other competitor. She is a mixed martial arts (MMA) and martial arts (Muay Thai, Taekwondo, Boxing, Judo, Kickboxing) champion. Valentina Shevchenko’s 6 Tattoos & Their Meanings

Meaning: She decided to get the tattoo because of her passion for shooting. Because it can be fired anywhere and carried about effortlessly, she sees it as a sign of her safety and a manifestation of her love for the Glock-19.

Professional Career

Shevchenko won over 50 combined amateur and professional bouts in K-1, Muay Thai, and kickboxing between 2003 and 2015. Against Debby Urkens (WFCA) in 2008 and Cong Wang in 2015, she suffered her first and second kickboxing defeats, respectively.

In 2015, Shevchenko competed in the IFMA world championships and the IFMA Royal World Cup, and she came away with a total of eight gold medals.

Shevchenko continued to compete in amateur Muay Thai bouts during her year-long break from the sport after she successfully bounced back from her loss by defeating A Jarkyn Baiturbaeva via unanimous decision the following year.

Her superiority in the ring allowed her to finish Andrade in the second round with elbows from the crucifix position.

UFC 266 took place on September 25, 2021, and it was a bout between Shevchenko and Lauren Murphy.

A fourth-round TKO gave her the victory.
