Presley made no initial announcement of the marriage but on August 1st released a statement confirming the two had been married: “My married name is Mrs Lisa Marie Presley-Jackson … We were married in a private ceremony outside the US … I am deeply in love with Michael, I dedicate my life to him. This is something I understand and support. “We are both looking forward to raising a family together.”
