A divorce was finalized between Presley and musician Danny Keough in 1994. After a month, in a Dominican Republic wedding ceremony, she and Michael Jackson got married. 

Apparently, the wedding will take place on May 26th, according to People. Presley made no initial announcement of the marriage but on August 1st released a statement confirming the two had been married: “My married name is Mrs Lisa Marie Presley-Jackson … We were married in a private ceremony outside the US … I am deeply in love with Michael, I dedicate my life to him. This is something I understand and support. “We are both looking forward to raising a family together.”

During Jackson’s marriage to Presley, he faced charges of child molestation and lawsuits. Consequently, critics viewed the marriage as a distraction from the drama. But Presley said in public that their marriage was legal and their love was true.

After some time, Elvis’s daughter realized that Jackson’s problems stemmed from his drug addiction. She saw parallels between her husband’s behavior and that of her late father’s, particularly with regard to his drug use and the presence of enablers, or “vampires,” in his life.

“He had to make a decision,” she continued – “was it the drugs and the vampires or me? And he pushed me away.”

On November 14, 1996, Michael wed nurse Debbie Rowe; they eventually had three children: Prince, Paris, and Blanket.
