At the 2019 Olympia, Elisa Pecini, who had placed 4th the previous year, won the bikini division and became the new bikini champion. Her rise was a significant surprise in the ranking.

Pecini, who won her first Olympia at the tender age of 22, went on to win the Arnold Classic Bikini International title. Pecini is now, at least temporarily, unchallengeable as the IFBB Pro League bikini champion thanks to her two victories.

You never know who will be picture perfect when they take the stage at the next competition in the Bikini division because of the division’s energy and growing popularity. However, it is obvious that Pecini is quite knowledgeable about training and enjoys doing it.

The reigning Bikini Olympia champion recently took over Olympia’s Instagram account (@mrolympiallc) to document her off-season routine.

Elisa Pecini Early Life Struggle

From the time she was 13 to 15, Pecini struggled with anorexia nervosa, which caused her to severely restrict her food intake and ultimately lose a significant amount of weight. She relapsed after first resisting treatment for a year because “I could not notice how much it made me unwell, and I wanted to reduce weight once again,” Pecini says of her decision to ignore medical advice. At 5 feet and 4 inches tall, she shrank to a mere 81 pounds.

During a routine 15-year-old medical appointment, it was concluded that Pecini required emergency hospitalization. She made significant progress after receiving in-patient care for a month. “I wanted to go back to a healthy weight in a safe, progressive, and non harmful approach,” she explains.
